Stone Lithography

Stone lithography involves the use of a grease-based crayon and oil-based inks to create an image on a lithography stone. The stone is then used to transfer the image to a sheet of paper, which can be done multiple times. Each copy of the image is called an edition.

Lithography

Monotype

Monotype uses inks or watercolors to create an image on Plexiglass, which is then transferred onto sheet of paper. Unlike lithography, intaglio and screen-printing this method creates only one print.

Intaglio is a print-making method that uses acid to etch an image on a copper plate. Ink is deposited into the etched parts of the copper plate and then passed through the press to transfer the image onto a sheet of paper.

This piece is titled "Voodoo Doll: Make Your Own Luck." The idea is that one must pursue their own destiny while facing adversity, and that at times it's up to you to piece yourself together.
